About Us

In 2014, Brandon and Heather Dempsey opened Wild Dave's in a 300 square foot building in Herrin, IL. Initially in a different industry, we diversified into the outdoor equipment space as well as trailer sales. By 2019, we had 3 brands of mowing equipment on our lot, as well as utility trailers. We outgrew our small space and needed to find a new location. In January of 2020, we opened our location at 423 S. Pershing in Energy, IL. We now offer a full product lineup of outdoor power equipment including Gravely, Ariens, CFMOTO , and Kress products, as well as a stock of utility trailers for transporting your power equipment. We are locally owned and family-operated and our focus is on serving you. We want you to feel good about purchasing from us- but we also want you to be taken care of AFTER the sale. We pride ourselves on our service department, and we look forward to serving you in the future.
